Hard to the retail Core - The 100% achievement...
I’m not what you would call an ‘Achievement Junkie’, when I buy a new game my first thought is to play the game and enjoy the experience. If i’m playing a new game and an achievement pops up during gameplay i’ll shelve this fact happily at the back of my mind and continue enjoying the game.

Preparing for Mass Effect 3
So Mass Effect 3 is almost upon us so I thought i’d start again from the beginning. I’m currently working my way through the first game and as soon as I took my first elevator ride, it reminded me of a Penny Arcade strip.

Saving the Final Fantasy franchise - Part 1
I used to be a huge fan of the Final Fantasy series. Like alot of European gamers, I started with FF7 and was instantly wowed by the elaborate (if badly translated - “Sh’it!”) storyline, characters and excellent FMV cut-scenes.
Okay so by today’s standards they don’t look great, but at the time, it was jaw dropping.
